The Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Industries, has successfully concluded the "𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚" project. This remarkable six-month initiative has laid the foundation for a transformative journey in improving Supply Chain practices within the country's manufacturing sector.
The program emerged as a result of the partnership formalized earlier this year through a 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐌𝐎𝐔) 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐌 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Over the past months, ISMM has worked closely with diverse industries to address unique challenges and promote resilient and sustainable Supply Chain practices.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐁: 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 – Aimed at delivering practical knowledge and hands-on experience, culminating in a successful session on 27th November 2024.

The journey of Project A was marked by several critical milestones:
* Inaugural Session (7th June): Introduced concepts of resilient and sustainable Supply Chain Management.
* Awareness Session (16th July): Facilitated knowledge-sharing and identification of challenges.
* First Round of Field Visits (24th August – 6th September): Focused on analyzing gaps and improving processes.
* Second Round of Field Visits (14th September – 31st October): Delivered deeper insights and customized strategies for participant industries.
* Closing Event: Celebrated achievements, progress, and the impact of the initiative.
